Video’s, documents, events, websites, and other resources that aid ALRISE members in achieving alliance goals and deliverables are organized into four categories: Professional Development, Undergraduate Research Experiences, Work-based Experiences, and Regional Hubs.
DEI and cultural responsiveness professional development
Find videos, training, papers, and reports for professional development of faculty, staff, administrators, students, and employers involved in ALRISE. Topics include diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI), organizational transformation, and culturally responsive practices to intentionally serve Latinx and other underserved groups in STEM.
Undergraduate research experiences
Find and connect to undergraduate research communities where real work is happening that provides culturally responsive experiential learning opportunities that engage underserved students in STEM research in ways that impact their lives and the community in which they live. Find videos, papers, reports, research groups, events, tools, examples, and practices that you can adapt / adopt at your institution.
Work-based experiences
Learn how to tap into culturally responsive work-based experiences (WBE) with local or virtual employers. Find examples of WBE opportunities, practices, toolkits, and connect to ALRISE TECNA coordinators who interface with regional “tech” employers as sponsors and mentors.
